Indigenization Project: Process Documents and Resources

Description

From 2016-2018, the Indigenization project brought together Indigenous educational leaders who represented various educational organizations and institutions to develop open learning materials to support systemic change in public post-secondary in British Columbia. This group developed a framework for six guides to be created to support Indigenization at various institutional levels. Indigenous and ally educators and staff from across the province stepped forward to develop the guides and learning activities. These guides are a foundation for institutions to adapt and modify to their unique partnerships and relationships with Indigenous Peoples and communities. The resources found here include the Metis Bibliography, planning documents and additional resources. The professional learning series developed in Pressbooks can be found here: https://bccampus.ca/indigenization/
