Mashups
From BCcampus
While I hate to admit it, our pioneering Mashups of Non-Programmers session at this year's Northern Voice session was a bit of an experiment gone awry. We demonstrated, not unintentionally, how mashups were only *barely* beginning to become the province of non-programmers.
Still, within months of this session (February 2007) even more new platforms for user-generated mashups had arisen to the point where the landscape seems literally strewn with possibilities:
- Yahoo Pipes - http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/
- IBM's QEDWiki http://services.alphaworks.ibm.com/qedwiki/
- Microsoft's Popfly http://www.popfly.ms/
- Open Kapow - http://www.kapowtech.com/
- Dapper - http://www.dappit.com/
- DataMashups - http://datamashups.com/
- RSSBus - http://rssbus.com/
Are there other things about mashups you'd like Scott to discuss? Please add in ideas below
