The policy and the practice: early-career doctors and nurses as leaders and followers in the delivery of health care

Description: Mollie Burley is the convener of this new network that is expanding across non-metropolitan Victoria. The goals of the network are to provide Health & Social Care Professionals with opportunities to: hear about developments in implementing Interprofessional education and practice in the international and local region share information about local Interprofessional Learning activities and developments discuss 'Interprofessional learning' issues, from a postgraduate perspective understand a range of health & social care perspectives identify sub-regional Interprofessional Education opportunities enhance/develop Interprofessional research opportunities. The objectives of 'The Health & Social care Interprofessional Network (HSIN)' are to: facilitate Interprofessional education and practice provide a forum for networking, discussion, education and research into and about Interprofessional education and practice or Interprofessional Learning foster new, and enhance existing, Interprofessional collaboration, shared experience and undergraduate interprofessional clinical placement opportunities provide a vehicle for promoting the benefits of becoming an Interprofessional Learning Champion, Group or Organisation.
